Jack’s Cleaners

Brand Identity & Visual System for a Family-Owned Dry Cleaning Business

Project Overview

Jack’s Cleaners is a long-standing, family-owned dry cleaning business serving the Pasadena community since 1977. When the current owner, Jack Yerevanian, took over the business, the goal was to modernize the brand while preserving its history, reputation, and trust built over generations.

Brainbox was brought in to create a refreshed brand identity that feels clean, friendly, and contemporary—without alienating loyal customers who have known the brand for decades.

The Challenge

The challenge was finding the right balance between heritage and modernity.

The brand needed to:

  • Honor the family history and local reputation

  • Feel approachable and trustworthy

  • Look modern and professional across physical and digital touchpoints

  • Work across uniforms, storefronts, and marketing materials

  • Remain recognizable to existing customers

This was not a rebrand for shock value—it was a refinement with purpose.

  • Embroidered uniforms and apparel

  • In-store branding and signage

  • Outdoor advertising and promotional materials

Each application reinforces the brand’s professionalism and local credibility.
