Project Overview

Moonetic is a custom-designed digital platform built to simplify daily operations for childcare centers, preschools, and early education facilities. The goal was to replace fragmented, manual workflows with a centralized, intuitive system that supports administrators, caregivers, and parents—without adding technical complexity.

Brainbox Design Agency was responsible for the full UX/UI design, visual identity application, and interface logic, ensuring the product feels friendly, secure, and easy to use while handling sensitive child and family data.

The Challenge

Childcare facilities manage a wide range of daily tasks: child check-in/check-out, attendance tracking, staff coordination, parent communication, reporting, and billing. Many existing systems feel outdated, overly complex, or intimidating for non-technical users.

The challenge was to design a platform that:

Find Childs profile

Prior to using the Moonetic software, parents visiting a childcare facility had to sift through multiple pages or files to find their child’s information, which could be a time-consuming and frustrating process. However, with the introduction of Moonetic’s tablet-based software solution, selecting a child has become much easier and more efficient. The software provides a simple and intuitive interface that allows parents to quickly find and select their child’s page, saving them valuable time and improving their overall experience. This improvement is a testament to Moonetic’s focus on user-centered design, and highlights the company’s commitment to creating innovative solutions that solve real-world problems.

Check In and Sign

In addition to making it easier for parents to select their child’s profile, Moonetic has also implemented a signature panel feature that enables parents to quickly and easily sign their child in or out of the childcare facility. With this feature, parents can select their name from a list of authorized contacts and then use their finger to sign directly on the tablet’s screen. This process is both convenient and secure, as it ensures that only authorized individuals are able to sign their child in or out. By streamlining the check-in and check-out process in this way, Moonetic has once again demonstrated its commitment to creating a user-friendly software solution that simplifies the lives of both parents and childcare providers.

Sign Up Process

Moonetic’s software solution includes a calendar interface that allows parents to keep track of their child’s attendance history and make up missed check-ins or check-outs. In situations where a parent forgets to sign their child in or out of the childcare facility, or simply doesn’t have the time to do so, the calendar interface provides an easy-to-use solution. Parents can quickly view which days they may have missed checking in or out, and then make the necessary updates to ensure their child’s attendance record is up-to-date. This feature is particularly valuable for parents who may have busy schedules or who want to ensure they are maintaining accurate attendance records for their child. By providing this level of flexibility and convenience, Moonetic is further improving the user experience for parents and childcare providers alike.

Registering for our childcare center software is easy and can be completed in three simple steps. First, childcare centers can enter their basic information. Next, they can select the plan that best fits their needs. Finally, they have the option to select additional services, such as SMS texting capabilities and setup services, to enhance their experience.

Admin Panel

Moonetic’s desktop admin panel provides childcare center operators with a comprehensive suite of tools for managing all aspects of their operations. The panel offers the following capabilities:

Childcare center operators have the ability to manage and add students, as well as access important information such as child’s parents, emergency contacts, and doctor contacts. This allows for efficient and effective management of the childcare center.

Access to child’s check-in and check-out records is available through the desktop admin panel. This allows operators to monitor attendance and maintain accurate records.

The desktop admin panel allows operators to download records in both PDF and CSV formats. This feature enables operators to easily analyze and share data with relevant stakeholders.

The messaging system in the desktop admin panel allows operators to communicate with parents via preselected groups through both e-mail and SMS. This feature facilitates effective communication and ensures that parents are kept up-to-date on their child’s activities.

All documents related to a child’s profile can be collected and stored digitally, ensuring that all information is in one central location for easy access.

Childcare center operators can add and view any allergies or food restrictions that a child may have. This feature enables operators to provide appropriate care and support for each child’s unique needs.

The desktop admin panel also includes an automatic holiday notification system that notifies parents of upcoming holidays or closures. This feature helps ensure that parents are aware of any changes to the center’s schedule.

Childcare providers can leave notes for children that will pop up on the screen when a parent attempts to check them out. This feature is particularly useful for communicating important information to parents, such as reminders about upcoming events, feedback on the child’s progress, or any other relevant information.

Overall, the desktop admin panel is a powerful tool that allows childcare center operators to manage their operations efficiently and effectively, providing the highest level of care for the children in their care.
