Pasadena Antique Auctions

Logo Design · Brand Identity · Website Design for Antique Auctions & Warehouse

Project Overview

Pasadena Antique Auctions needed a timeless visual identity that would instantly communicate heritage, craftsmanship, and historical depth. The brand had to feel established, refined, and trustworthy — appealing to collectors, estate sellers, and serious buyers alike.

The goal was to create a logo that visually represents the passage of time while remaining sophisticated enough to live on auction catalogs, embossed stationery, wax seals, signage, and large-scale exterior applications.

The Challenge

Designing for an antique auction house comes with a delicate balance. The identity must feel historic without appearing outdated. It must reference the past, but still function beautifully in modern brand applications — from digital platforms to physical embossing and wax seals.

The challenge was to create a symbol that:

  • Embodies multiple eras of history

  • Feels authentic and premium

  • Works in flat, embossed, and metallic finishes

  • Scales from small stamp details to large architectural signage

Deliverables

The Logo Concept

At the center of the identity is a single clock face — but instead of one unified set of hands, the clock features multiple hands inspired by different historical periods.

Each arrow and ornamental detail references a distinct era of clockmaking, symbolizing the layered stories found within antique pieces. Together, they form a harmonious composition — a visual metaphor for time converging in one place.

The circular seal structure reinforces authority and authenticity, resembling traditional auction stamps and heritage emblems. The typography is classic and refined, allowing the symbol to carry the storytelling weight.
